CRAFTED WITH SOUL // At Saudade Collective we say

CRAFTED WITH SOUL // At Saudade Collective we say our collections are handmade, but really, they come from the heart. So on this soulful sunny day, we exhibit the virtues of the all-important handcrafted production, which humanizes consumption of the responsibly-made as opposed to mass production in the industrial process.

In the years that I worked in the interior design industry, I saw how collections of major brands are created. Companies travel the world in search of special designs, which are then copied and put into mass production. The first time I saw this process up close was an eye opener. In my view, the design, the maker (and with that a beautiful craft) were disregarded.

The story of the maker and her/his product is an essential part of Saudade Collective for me. Besides the fact that I want to be transparent about, for example, material choices, I want to share my love for the makers and the artisanry by including you in the making process. Meet our artisans, in word and image, and discover our passions but also our struggles. What preceded before you got your hands on this object?

In the end, we want to share our beautiful Collectables with you, for them to inspire you to become more aware of the real value of what you collect in your life🙏🏼💜

BIRTHDAY SALE // Today is my birthday and to celebrate with you, I will be selling a selection of Saudade Collectibles with minor imperfections in a special birthday-misfits-sale 🎉

With our Collective we don't do seasonal sales. And I don’t sell these objects with the Collectibles you find on the webshop. So this is your chance, I only have a few of these unique misfits! ⁠

⁠This sale starts today and will end on the birthday of @studioinekevanderwerff on May 18th! Everyday a new batch will be added. So keep an eye on the stories!

- All objects are photographed and numbered, to clearly point out the imperfections

- First come, first served. The item is yours after payment is completed (no reservations)

- Each item is unique. If you claim one, you will get the exact one displayed on the photo

- Each item will be packed in our beautiful wrapping paper and gift boxes

- You can choose shipping (+ €8,70 in NL) or pick-up in Emmen, NL

- No returns or refunds

All objects are photographed, to clearly point out the imperfections. This could be a small deformity, little wood cracks, a wrong color, glaze faults, etc. Some have mistakes you barely see, some have more obvious imperfections. ⁠
