Exactly the kind of intricate work I love doing✨

THE ITALIAN ART OF PAUSING || This month I’m challenging myself to actively seek out the things that truly spark joy.

With Milan Design Week approaching,
and the privilege of having space in my agenda,
I’ve decided to take the slower route—
by train, through Italy.

Starting in Rome,
pausing in Florence,
immersing in Milan,
and ending in Turin.

Curious what will come along the way✨

During this time, the webshop will take a short pause too. Orders will be shipped until April 14th

COLLECTIVE || let's use our hands to do good

Everything we do, has an impact on the world around us. We tend to underestimate how much impact we can make together. You don’t have to be a perfect consumer. Just by choosing to be a more conscious consumer, you already make a difference.

By paying attention to our products. By appreciating the craft with which our collections are made and by feeling a connection with our artisans and their stories. You give Saudade Collective more value by capturing memories in our products and cherishing them as a memento. This way you’re not only buying something beautiful for yourself, you also contribute to the future of craftsmanship 🫶

NEW COLOURS || It took me a few days to reload after the past three events. Now we're back with a fresh addition to the GLACE collection by Fleur. Last week @objectrotterdam > available online now.

These aren’t just functional pieces, but daily companions that make every use feel intentional and beautiful. If you’re going to reach for something hundreds of times a year, why not choose the version that brings a little spark of delight each time? ✨

NEW WORK || Made from woven metal.
It definitely required a lot of time and persistence, but there’s something truly mesmerizing about these fine strands and unraveling edges.

I love creating these pieces — like a woven rhythm: intuitive and a little unpredictable. Slowly unfolding, still becoming.

The first pieces were shown last week during @objectrotterdam
Thank you for all the curiosity and lovely responses. You’ll be seeing a lot more of these shimmers. ✨

SHIMMER || In our desaturated winter world, catching a glimmer of sunshine is always cherished.

Warmth settles on the surface as the snow slowly melts away, revealing a quiet shimmer where form and material meet a returning glow✨
