At SAUDADE COLLECTIVE we are dedicated to make gorgeously-designed, sustainable and responsibly-made products accessible to the largest possible audience. We believe social and environmental injustices are a reason to do business different. Mass-produced products not only cause waste and pollution, they also accelerate the disappearance of craftsmanship.

We are convinced the change lies within ourselves. Therefore, we strive to contribute to a better world by investing love, time and money in talent and craftsmanship. And in building a Collective of makers and customers. In this endeavour we continuously challenge ourselves to find new ways to add better value to the process.

In craftsmanship we see an important counterpoint for what modern industrialization does for work and consumption. It is the story behind every piece and the craftsmanship with which it is created, that pulls on your heartstrings. Every detail has its own origin, its own passion, its own soul.

Reflecting the meaning of SAUDADE, to us the loss of artisans techniques is devastating. Therefore, our philosophy focuses on preserving (traditional) craftsmanship by teaming up with designers and artisans from different countries and cultures to create unique products together. Special objects to make new memories with and which can make you aware of an extraordinary feeling: the feeling of SAUDADE.

Following production, we aim to be a bridge between our craftsmen and entrepreneurs in order to make our Saudade Collections accessible to everyone. We want to share these wonderful things with you for them to inspire you, to mold you, to change you.

Each item is handcrafted and – in the spirit of SAUDADE – only available in limited quantities to ensure it is as extraordinary as the Collective that inspired it. We want to share our beautiful products with you, so they can inspire you too.
